Instead of airtable / notion databases

Records & Modules, already inside the system.

Airtable / Notion databases does this one job, and does it away from everything else you run. The record engine every module is built on: lists, filters, saved views, detail pages, relations and per-field permissions. Contacts and customers live here like everything else.

Where you are now

Both sides of it, honestly

What a separate tool leaves you with

  • A second login, a second bill and a second place to look.
  • An integration to buy, wire up and then watch for the day it silently stops.
  • The same customer typed into two systems, spelled two ways.
  • Reporting that has to be stitched together by hand before anyone can read it.
  • A vendor whose roadmap has nothing to do with the rest of your business.

What being part of the Hub changes

  • One consistent way to read and edit anything
  • Saved views per person
  • Field-level permissions where the data is sensitive
  • Shares its records with Reports and Automations directly — no connector, no sync window, no drift.
  • One login, one permission model, one bill, one place to ask a question.

Why it holds up

Three things that only work because it is one system

No integration to maintain

Modules are not connected; they are the same database. There is nothing between them that can fall over at two in the morning.

The assistant can reach it

Because it is inside the Hub, you can ask about it in plain English and get an answer composed from the live record rather than a dashboard you have to interpret.

It changes when you do

Add a field, a stage or a rule the day you need it. You are not waiting for a vendor to decide your workflow is worth supporting.

A day it changes

You filter customers to "no job in 12 months", save it as a view, and work the list.

The reach

What it is joined to

Records & Modules

Not integrated. The same database.

There is no connector between Records & Modules and the modules below, because there is nothing to connect. They read and write the same records, so a change is not copied anywhere — it is simply already there.

Questions

The ones worth asking

Is this as capable as dedicated airtable / notion databases?+

For the work most businesses actually do here, yes — and it carries context a standalone tool never sees, because the rest of your operation is in the same system. If you use a genuinely specialist feature, tell us on a call and we will say plainly whether we cover it.

Can we run both while we move across?+

Yes, and most people do for a few weeks. Import what you have, run the two side by side until the team stops opening the old one, then cancel it.

What happens to our history?+

It comes with you. Import brings the records across with their dates intact, so reporting does not start from an empty page.
